Biography

Ingrid Tucci is CNRS researcher at the CNRS, sociologist of Migration and social inequalities, working since november 2015 at the LEST in Aix en Provence. Before that date she had a professorship for sociology of migration in a comparative perspective at the University of Bieleleld (Germany) and was researcher at the Socio-Economic Panel (German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin ).

Research Project
Her research interests focus on the modes of production of inequalities along ethnic lines and on the effects of institutional and structural contexts on those inequalities. She has coordinated research projects on the school-to-work trajectories of migrants’ descendants in France and Germany, on the issue of poverty among migrant families and participated in the realization of a large survey on immigrants in Germany.
